Instant Remittances to Sri Lanka

We are pleased to announce new arrangements with Peoples Bank Sri Lanka for Straight Through Process (STP) E-Remittances

This integration enables Doha Bank customers to transfer money instantly to their Peoples Bank accounts. The details are as follows:

E-remittance to Accounts with Peoples Bank

• E-Remittance to Peoples Bank Account – INSTANT* credit.
• Remittance credits are subject to regulatory screening of transactions.
• Customers need to Register / Re-register beneficiary to avail instant credits mapped to Peoples Bank.

E-Remittance through Branch Users

• Please select “PEOPLES BANK SL-MAIN” from the drop-down menu under Correspondent Bank list for credit to beneficiary accounts maintained with Peoples Bank Sri Lanka.

E-Remittance through Online Banking / Mobile Banking

• Doha Bank customers sending money to Sri Lanka need to Register / Re-register their beneficiary to avail INSTANT credit on their remittances to Peoples Bank

Charge on E-Remittance for Peoples Bank Sri Lanka is below:

*Note: The correspondent Bank charges will be deducted from the amount remitted and credit the remaining fund to beneficiary accounts.

Other Conditions

• Correspondent Bank Charge will be deducted from the amount remitted and credit the remaining fund to beneficiary accounts.
• Detail of correspondent Bank charges can also be viewed from “Schedule of Correspondent Bank Charges” under DBank Online.
• Only Sri Lankan Rupees remittances are allowed through Peoples Bank Sri Lanka.
• Above charges may change from time to time as per banks internal fees and tariff structure change.
