Secure Online Credit Card Payments – DB Card Secure

Introduction

DB Card Secure is a service introduced by Doha Bank for secure online payments. It is a secure and easy-to-use service that aims to offer extra protection and security when you pay online.

DB Card Secure, provided in association with “MasterCard® Secure Code™” and “Verified by Visa”, protects your Doha Bank credit cards and prepaid cards against unauthorized use when you shop online at merchant websites. Now, this service is available for Doha Bank credit cardholders to register and use for free!

Why is it secure?

Password protection – Doha Bank’s Card Secure enhances your Doha Bank Visa or MasterCard credit card with a personal password of your choice. When you shop at participating online stores, you enter your password in the same way you enter your PIN (Personal Identification Number) at an ATM. It means that only you can use your Doha Bank credit card online, giving you the same assurances you have when you use your card in a physical store.

How does it work?

You can register in one of two ways:

2 – You will be prompted for registration upon your next online purchase. Simply follow the instructions on screen as follows to complete the easy registration process:

Step 1

Enter Card Number – Enter your Doha bank credit card number at checkout at a participating online retailer.

Step 2

Verify identity – A secure window from Doha Bank will appear, requesting your SecureCode.

Step 3

Create Securecode – Simply enter your SecureCode in the secure window. In seconds, Doha Bank will authenticate the transaction and confirm that you are the individual making the purchase.

Registration Complete – That’s it. Once your identity has been authenticated your secure online transaction can be completed.

Pay online at participating merchants with your registered Doha Bank credit card. Enter your password as a signature to authorize the transaction online and complete your purchase.
