Terms & Conditions : Account Opening

  1. The Al Dana Saving Account, Current Account, Al Dana Family Savings Account and Al Dana Savings Plan Account Holders are eligible for prizes in Al Dana draws as announced by Doha Bank from time to time. Doha Bank reserves the right to close the scheme, change the prize scheme or modify or cancel the terms and conditions of the scheme at any time.
  2. Cash Prize for ‘Win a Salary for Life’ will be capped at QAR 2 Million irrespective of the salary.
  3. All Active Account with balance greater or equal to QR 5,000 qualifies for draws.
  4. Customer can open an Al Dana or Current Account at any Doha Bank branch.
  5. The opening of the Account is subject to Doha Bank’s acceptance of the application.
  6. In order to ensure transparency of the draw process and ensure integrity of the product, the Bank has the right to advertise the winning numbers, winners’ names and nationalities of the customers as and when required. In case they win, customers agree to make themselves available for photography as required by the Bank, which will also be advertised as required by the Bank.
  7. The prizes won in Al Dana Campaign are non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-pledge able to any third party.
  8. The Non-Cash Prize won in the Al Dana Campaign cannot be replaced against their Cash Value unless stated by Doha Bank.
  9. Doha Bank’s Board members and Employees of Doha Bank along with their spouse and first degree relatives, are not eligible to participate in Al Dana Campaign.
  10. At the time of claiming a prize pertinent to Al Dana Young Savers Account that are held in minor’s (18yrs and below) name, the father must be the guardian/co-signatory.
  11. Customers in the GCC can enter the draw by opening Al Dana Savings/Current Account in Qatar in their currency. These accounts will be opened as non-resident accounts.
  12. Prizes not claimed within the first 6 months of announcement shall be considered null and void.
  13. All prize draws will be held in Doha, Qatar.
  14. Civil courts of the QATAR shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising out of the above transaction.
